All of us, at some point, will walk through a dark place, a sickness, a divorce, a deep loss, or heartbreak from a child who makes painful choices. Dark seasons are not optional in this life. They come uninvited and often unannounced.

How Gratitude, Faith, and Family Build a Lasting Legacy

There are moments when it feels like God is so incredibly personal. For me, this morning was one of those moments. As the sun rose over the lake, painting the sky with golden light, the little white chapel in the distance caught my eye. In the quiet, as I prayed, I was reminded of a powerful truth: nothing is wasted at the altar.

God’s promises – sometimes they feel easier said than done, don’t they? We can nod our heads when life is good and everything feels steady, but when storms come, that’s when those promises are tested. And if I’m being real, there have been times in my own life where I wanted to throw my hands up and say, “What’s the point?”

When this question is asked, it’s not intended to be casual. Jesus is asking and inviting us into something deep and paramount for our relationship with Him.
