All Things Are Possible to Him That Believes
All Things Are Possible to Him That Believes
“All things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23
Have you ever felt hopeless, ready to give up? Have you already laid something down in your heart because it just felt too heavy to carry? Have you prayed, waited, and wondered if anything would ever change?
There are moments in life when we feel stuck emotionally, spiritually, and even physically - like we’re trapped right where we sit.
According to the Word of God, you don’t have to stay there.
In Mark 9:23, Jesus didn’t say some things are possible. He said all things are possible to the one who believes. That kind of faith doesn’t deny the problem, it simply refuses to give the problem the final word.
God desires relationship, not religion
God doesn’t want distant followers. He wants a relationship.
His desires for us are:
Feed on the words that come from His mouth.
Walk with Him where He leads.
Trust Him instead of taking off on independent excursions, hoping He’ll catch up.
Rest in the assurance that He protects our lives, our relationships, and everything that concerns us.
Faith grows in relationships. Belief strengthens in intimacy.
The more we sit at His feet, the more we begin to see from His perspective. And from Heaven’s view, nothing is impossible.
You Are Righteous!!!!
Hope truly begins right now because you are righteous not because of what you’ve accomplished, not because you’ve been perfect, and not because you've earned it.
You are righteous because you received, by faith in Jesus, the very righteousness of God. That truth changes everything.
When the enemy whispers, “You’ve failed,” righteousness declares, “I am covered.” When shame says, “You’re disqualified,” righteousness answers, “I am accepted.” When hopelessness says, “There’s no future,” righteousness responds, “God is not finished.”
The Benefits of Righteousness:
What Scripture promises concerning the righteous:
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree.” (Psalm 92:12)
Even in desert conditions, you will flourish.
When it goeth “well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth.” (Proverbs 11:10)
Your obedience blesses more than just you.
“The seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” (Proverbs 11:21)
There is generational protection attached to righteousness.
“The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.” (1 Peter 3:12)
God sees you. God hears you.
“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)
Favor surrounds you like protection.
This is not motivational thinking. This is a covenant truth. When you know who you are in Christ, you stop living from defeat and start living from promise.
Believe Again:
If you’ve been sitting in hopelessness, today is the day to believe again.
Believe that God is working even when you don’t see it. Believe that your righteousness in Christ qualifies you. Believe that your prayers are heard. Believe that what feels impossible is still under God’s authority.
All things are possible - not to the perfect, not to the strongest, not to the most qualified - but to the one who believes.
Reflection Questions
Where in my life have I quietly given up believing God can move?
Am I feeding daily on God’s Word, or trying to walk independently and hoping He follows?
Do I truly see myself as righteous because of Jesus, or am I still striving to earn what has already been given?
How would my mindset change today if I fully believed God’s favor surrounds me like a shield?
Take a moment. Sit with these. Let the Holy Spirit speak.
Father God,
Thank You that all things are possible to the one who believes. Forgive me for the places where I have allowed hopelessness to take root. Today, I choose to believe again.
Thank You that I am righteous not because of my works, but because of Jesus. Help me walk in that truth with confidence and humility. Teach me to feed on Your Word daily and follow where You lead instead of trying to go my own way.
Remind me that Your eyes are upon me and Your ears are open to my prayers. Surround me with Your favor like a shield. Strengthen my faith. Renew my hope. And help me flourish, even in difficult seasons.
I trust You with my life, my family, and everything that concerns me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
